Every time I get back from a trip people tell me they want to go on my next adventure. Or to hear stories of my travels. My goal in making this blog is to show you that adventures are yours for the taking. Travel shouldn’t be a scary “once in a lifetime” idea. Travel is easy and often cheaper than you think! I hope this blog inspires you to pack your bags and leave your comfort zone behind! Adventures Await you, now go and find them! About me I got the travel bug from my mom and grandmother at a young age. I spent my formative years loading up in the family van with my brother, parents, mom’s parents, and dad’s mom crisscrossing the country and seeing the beauty America offers when you leave the highways and get out of the cities. My parents proved to me you don’t have to rich or fancy to travel, you just need to want to go. I got my first passport when I was 16 and haven’t stopped using it since! I spent a year in Europe while in undergrad, backpacking across the continent. As I write this, I’ve been to 31 countries, x territories, 48 U.S. states, and counting...

City Download: London

London is probably my favorite city in the world. I say probably because I haven’t visited all the major cities to be sure. I studied abroad in London and have visited multiple times since my very first trip abroad more than 20 years ago.  London is what a friend of mine calls a “Tuesday City.” There’s always something going on,…

Beaches Ochos Rios: Is it Worth It?

We’re just back from 4 nights in Jamaica at a Beaches all-inclusive resort. Of course, right after we booked our trip Club Med ran a sale and we could have saved $2,000 staying there (in the Dominican Republic) instead. That got us thinking – was it worth it to go to Beaches over a different resort?  TL;DR: It depends. I’d…

RVing with a Toddler

This is a post I’ve been meaning to do for a while. Our daughter was 7 months old when we bought our first camper and 9 months for her first trip. Three seasons later, we’ve learned a lot and are still learning. I hope to keep this updated as we go along. None of this is sponsored and is all just…

Tackling Disney with a Toddler

I’m going to start this post off with a disclaimer: I am from a theme park family. Since I’ve married into a non-theme park family I have learned that not everyone does theme parks the way that my family does: ALL IN, FULL TILT. I share the photo below for context. Disney World consists of 4 theme parks (Magic Kingdom,…

Summer in the Catskills

This post will be a bit different from others. We just bought a place in the Catskills and are renting it out on AirBnb (check it out!). As we spend more time in the area, I plan to update this post. For now, I wanted to have a one-stop shop for all of our recommendations for hiking, swimming, and eating…
